Who's Who in CS Systems

Spring 2007 - Light Seminar

DiscoLab is holding a weekly seminar designed to provide an overview of people working in the area of Computer Science "systems" research. For this project, "systems" is loosely defined as operating systems, networking, security, and architecture. The intent is to gather general information about faculty and researchers in different academic and non-academic institutions around the world. The primary focus is on current research, but historical contributions - major projects, seminal papers, and other activities - may also be referenced.

It is our hope that our findings may be of general interest to the community at large, and serve as a resource for those investigating current trends in research and searching for institutions actively involved in fields related to their own.

This list is by no means complete - oversights are likely, though unintentional. Please report serious inaccuracies to the webmaster of this site.

Each week a different institution will be surveyed and information concerning faculty and projects will be presented. The organization will be oriented towards individuals with a secondary focus on the projects they are connected to. The presentations will be linked from this site in PDF/PPT format. The institution chosen for the following week will be announced in advance.
